Economy

Posted under News & Society

Surprisingly, with the economy in crisis, people losing jobs and our GDP on a dump compared to the interest payments on our national debt barely showing any rebound, we continue to keep foreign products.

We ask, “Who is to blame?” Take a long hard look in the mirror, and then take a look at what in your shopping cart. It’s just human nature to look at other people, to establish guilt. Unfortunately, this is all of us. We go to the store with the thought we will get as much as we can at all, as we can spend. Nevertheless, we do not understand, by the time we got on hand, as we have in the basket is not made in the USA. Why? Because we have kept the dollar here and out there. Do we support our local economy? In most cases the answer is no. Of course, we bought the product from a local shop, so we have the support of carriers warehouse clerk, and checking people, local mega-marts, and the products we bought were made in a country that pays its employees a few dollars a day. For what? We only paid a few dollars less products than if we bought the goods made by U.S. company that pays its employees anywhere from 8 to 10 dollars per hour. In addition, U.S. workers would buy more goods in the U.S..

It is almost incomprehensible logic we use.

We see that people spend more than $ 100 for jeans with a special label, which later split pennies when they buy other products. We need to get REAL, people! Regardless of what Congress or the Senate or even the president decided to do it to save the U.S. economy. We can do it one dollar at a time. The next time you go to the store, although it may be difficult to find and buy the product that says it’s made in America. If you can not find it, go to the stores that sell goods that are made in America. If we continue to shop stores that promote American products of the large networks will eventually shift its attention, it may take time, but they are not dummies, they are in business to stay in business.

How do we force retailers to carry American products, slowly make the change. Realize that it took several years to get the economy where it is today, without a doubt, this will take years to reverse the situation, but with your support, we can restore the growth of the U.S. economy.

But most governments in developing countries and can not be home they do not provide basic needs due to their lack of funds and budget constrains. But some developing countries are fortunate enough to have a non-government organization (NGO). and charitable institutions that participate in this type of situation. they usually finance the investments by philanthropists and Samaritans is committed to change and do not participate in this disadvantaged sector of our society. Concerning the Planet

Posted under News & Society

Our Earth is facing many problems because of their own stupid human activities. Cutting trees has led to the erosion of hard and raised the level of carbon di-oxide in the environment. It gradually destroyed the natural habitat of animals and other living beings, thus contributing to their disappearance. There will be a day when we do not see the rare species in the world.

Issues of global warming!

Fossil fuels are burned excessive in order to generate energy. This is slow, exhausting the fossil fuels on the planet, as well as increasing carbon di-oxide. This damage to the ozone layer, and very soon there will be no protective layer to stop UV rays from reaching the earth. How to survive? Skin cancer, lung infection, breathing problems and other epidemics will be on the rise. We have already seen early signs of global warming, is not it?

H1ni virus, swine influenza, malaria has been on the rise. We are not ready to treat medical epidemics.

Kofi Annan and other senior officials conducted a study on this global crisis, and are now trying to draft the resolution in an international summit will be held in London, known as one of the young world from 8 – 10 February 2010. There’s appeal to all young leaders from the project address all these global issues. If you can contribute to global causes, go ahead and participate.

Private Greed Vs Public Good

Posted under News & Society

In 2008, prescription drugs totaled $ 291 billion in sales in the United States. In 2000, drug production employs more than 625 lobbyists (1) (there are only 535 members of Congress). Big business. Big money. Big power. Power against the principles – is the eternal dialectic. If the power of the rules, we could also open the Belmont Report right now.

Ethical principles are not intended to be easy – they are intended to serve as a guide for proper conduct and practice. Ethical principles are established to provide a framework and an environment in which people can assist in the lifting-up counterparts – improving medical practice, improving health care, improve public health and welfare. How to apply the principles of bioethics, listed in the report of the Belmont is a constant issue in the conduct of international clinical trials of drugs. If the principles are of paramount importance, we can discover the source of ethics and conduct in the country authors.

Universal ethical standards are intended to apply universally – not at the local level, and selectively, in favor of a more powerful agency. They are designed to protect the most vulnerable among us – we are referring to the international community. And in the world the ethical standards of care should apply to the highest, not lowest, common denominator.

But this is not an ethical world, huh? Should be ombudsmen, commitment to the principles of respect for persons, beneficence and justice. Investigators should “take greater responsibility for the welfare of the subjects they enroll in school.” And, well-being “should not depend on political and economic conditions in the region.” (2)

Requires constant vigilance. International institutions should be able to impose meaningful penalties and consequences, but such sanctions must be accompanied by meaningful regulation and oversight in recipient countries. It was very difficult. In the United States, at least in the pharmaceutical industry with great power and influence.
